Don't let time down

 

 "…now is the time of grace, now is the day of salvation" - 2 Corinthians 6:2

 

D.L. When Preacher Moody was holding a meeting in Chicago, a Famous businessman was very active in the meetings. But he hesitated to accept Jesus. Every day with tears in his eyes, when the preacher advises and urges him, he says, "Sir, give me a moment. My partner in business is unsaved, he will mock me. I cannot accept Jesus because I am also a businessman." He stopped coming to the temple to preach about Jesus over and over again. A few months later he fell ill. He said he will accept Jesus if he is healed. Moody also prayed. When he was healed, he denied Jesus. He fell ill again. Then he died surrounded by darkness. His last words on dying were: "The harvest is gone, and the summer is over".

 

One of the two thieves crucified with Jesus made the most of the time he was given and received life in Paradise. Another thief said he will believed if he had the power to free me from the cross. In the end, he was the loser. We should also accept Jesus as if this is the last moment to know JESUS. Don't waste your time hoping for one more moment, one more chance. It is your life that is wasted. You will lose the life of Paradise. So, believe in him today and accept him and get the life of paradise like a thief. If you miss this moment, you may not get another moment.

 

Jesus is the one who will receive you in heaven. He is capable of freeing you from hardships and losses. Jesus will come into my heart with full heart to get this life of paradise. It is enough to beg to wash away my sin. Apart from that, by reading the scriptures and knowing what he says and following them, we can stay in touch with him. When that is the case, we can keep the salvation we have received or our relationship with God until our time on earth.
