Boy – Rich lady

 

"…And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive" - Matthew 21:22

 

Hello kids, do you pray to Jesus first for everything you need? Or will you bother your parents and buy them? The rainy season is coming. We need an umbrella and a raincoat. You have to pray to Jesus for all this. Right! No matter what I pray, Jesus will not give me anything, do you say so. Then listen to this story. Hope will come to you that Jesus will give. Can we get into the story?

 

This is a true story that happened many years ago in New York City. There was shivering cold shaking everyone. It was in that cold that a boy like you was shivering with torn clothes and no sandals. Then a rich lady in that city was coming that way in a chariot on her horses . Seeing the pitiful condition of the boy, she immediately ordered the chariot to stop and got down and went to the boy.

 

Placing her hand on the boy's shoulder, dear asked lovingly what are you looking at through this window in this cold. Immediately, the boy replied saying “ I asked Jesus for a pair of shoes to protect my feet from the cold”. He replied with certainty that he was looking with faith “how was going to give it to me?”. The rich lady was very surprised to see the firm faith in him and was embarrassed to test her level of faith. Then she lovingly held the boy's hand and went into the shop. All the shopkeepers were wondering if a rich lady was bringing a boy with such tattered clothes and came forward to help him. First, they bought a wide bowl of water and a towel from him made him sit on a chair, washed and wiped his feet, put on new shoes, then bought five pairs of shoes, gave him a new dress and clothes for the cold, wore them and kissed him and left. For the boy was filled with happiness. He thanked Jesus very much.

 

What children have you seen, I want you to believe that Jesus will surely answer your prayers like that little boy. We should put faith in the above. When you have that kind of faith, you can get whatever you ask for. Ok come on.
