Spider

 

"There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise:.. The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces" - Proverbs. 30:24,28

 

The spider is shown by King Solomon as a wise insect. It turns its own habitat into a web so that it does not have to go out in search of its food, and obtains its food where it is. That is, it traps the food it needs in its web and eats it.

 

Today, social media platforms are destroying our time, our family relationships, and trapping us in watching unnecessary things from where we are. There are people who buy unnecessary things in TeleShopping and go into debt. We buy unnecessary things and stack them. The social "network" platform has turned us into luxury lovers. There is a crowd waiting to do us harm on the networks like a hunter who throws a net to catch us. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Pet. 5:8).

 

Drug addictions start small and completely enslave us. Children who start with friends saying, "Will you drink with us just once? Will you smoke?" Eventually, they become addicted to all kinds of drugs and ruin their lives. Not only do they get into trouble, but their families also get into trouble. In addition, the person affected by drugs and his relatives and friends around him are affected by poverty, illness, and arrests. How much shame? How much pain?.”

 

Please think about it, brother. We hear in the news about people who have lost their money and reputation by claiming to provide loans online. There are millions of people trapped in pornographic websites. "Let us be careful that we, who have been chosen by the Lord, do not be deceived." Let us use websites wisely and not die like insects caught in the "web".
