Ant
"Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and learn wisdom" - Proverbs 6:6
We crush and kill a small ant thinking it is a small ant. There are many things we can learn from that small ant. There are many things like agility, hard work, collecting and storing in advance, and walking in an orderly line. But its body structure is also a reason for all of them. Today, let us learn some things from its body structure.
No heart: First, the ant has a heart in a tube structure. It does not have a separate heart like we do. That is, it runs according to the will of God who created it without its own will or desire. Let us also not act according to our own ideas but rather surrender ourselves into His hands according to the scripture, "I will set my eye upon you and counsel you." If we follow His advice, we will not have to deviate from God's plan. We will give Him our first and full love. The plan He has for us is great. We will live in His plan.
No ears: The ant has two sensory horns on its head, so they recognize sound by vibrations. If we also do not listen to the praise and scorn of others, we can still run fast in our race. Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will support you. According to the verse (Psalm 55:22), let us cast our burdens and worries on the Lord who supports and lifts us and live with faith and peace of mind.
Has two stomachs: The ant has two stomachs. It takes from one and feeds the others. Similarly, we can also find a kind of happiness when we live by giving to others. But today people work hard for themselves, for me and for me. God has given us two hands, one to receive from God and the other to give to others. But when you do alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing (Matt. 6:3). God says, even though they are in the same body, give without knowing it. Jesus Christ says that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Let us also receive the blessing and goodness that we give to others.
These three things should be practiced in the life of every Christian. We should be careful about the things that often trip us up and act proactively and with an eye to our affairs. Then there is no doubt that our lives will become an example for others.
