The One Who Saves Us

 

“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot" - Rev. 3:15

 

I came from a traditional Christian family and had the habit of going to church. But I did not have the habit of reading the Bible, nor did I have a life that feared the Lord. I lived a worldly life. I lived a Christian life without salvation. When my father and mother died one after another, my life seemed like darkness. At such a time, I happened to attend a prayer meeting at a sister's house. The minister who came there read the Bible. In it, this verse, "You have a name that you are alive, but you are dead," touched my heart. I took the Bible and read it, and the knowledge of Jesus began to grow within me. Then I had a change of heart and was saved.

 

Born in 1963, I was saved only in 1984. After salvation came into my life, everything changed in my speech and actions. I made it a strict habit never to miss church worship under any circumstances. My family members started mocking me for being crazy and too religious. But when I started living with Jesus at the centre of my life, I received the Lord's support and blessings.

 

I was worried about how marriage would work out since I had no mother or father. The Lord understood my mental anguish and helped me to get married in 1988. I wanted to marry a minister. But after my marriage, my husband dedicated himself to the ministry and went to Bible college. After he graduated, I left my good job and joined my husband in the ministry. From 1994 to 2010, we served in church ministry, and from 2011 to 2025, we have been serving among various churches. For the past one year, we have been serving the Lord together with the Village Missionary Movement.

 

If anyone reading this is a nominal Christian who knows who Jesus is but is not saved, goes to church but is not set free by the truth, please know that salvation is not far from us. Come to Him today, the day of salvation. He is eagerly calling you.
