At the Appointed Time

 

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:” - 1 Peter 5:6

 

In every town something is famous. In Madurai where I am, it is Jigarthanda, in Virudhunagar it is Parrota, in Salem it is Mango, tell me kids what is famous in your town? It is so nice to hear, and you will keep telling me on and on. Similarly, the Maple tree in Norway is very special. Its leaves are red in colour. It flowers, bears fruit only after 40 years. If you want to eat this fruit, you must be patient. Its price is also very high. Next, the peach tree is special in Europe and can be bought for 20,000 dollars. Now you’re probably wondering, “Where is this story going?” Let’s go, kids!

 

Let's go and see an uncle's garden. That garden is in New York and was very beautiful. There were peach trees, maples and other different and of different colours. Do you also grow a lot of plants in the garden? One day a person came to see that uncle's garden. All the trees were beautiful to look at. They did not have any fruits or berries, but the price was very high. The visitor said, “In my garden, I have banana trees. They grow fast and give fruit quickly. Their taste and benefits are great too, and they’re cheap! We can eat them and be happy.”

 

He asked why you have kept trees that do not bear fruit for so many years. That's when the uncle said, God has a time for every tree. Only at those times will it bear fruit. Until then, we must wait patiently. Hearing this, the person said, no matter how God creates, it will be beautiful, we just need patience, thinking about God's creations, praising him and went home.

 

So, my dear little ones! Are you thinking, “I didn’t get what I hoped for,” or “God hasn’t answered my prayer,” or “My family is not yet blessed”? Have you become sad thinking nothing is happening? He has a time to lift you up and help you. If we surrender ourselves to His will and be patient until the right time comes, we can receive Blessings from Jesus. O.K All the Best.
