The Almighty

 

“I know that thou canst do everything, and that no thought can be withholden from thee” – Job 42:2

 

The Bible teaches us in many places that the Lord can do all things and that no purpose of His can be thwarted. When God announced the birth of Isaac, Sarah laughed, and God asked Abraham, "Is anything too hard for the Lord?" When the disciples asked who could be saved, Jesus replied, "The things impossible with men are possible with God." The angel Gabriel, who announced the miraculous birth of Jesus and the birth of John the Baptist to Elizabeth, who was considered barren in her old age, tells Mary that nothing is impossible with God. When God announced to the prophet Zechariah that the streets of Jerusalem, which had been devastated and deserted by enemies, would once again be filled with people of all ages, the Lord of hosts said, “Though it may seem marvellous to the remnant of this people at that time, will it seem marvellous to me.”

 

It is no wonder to the Lord that those who are hopeless, exhausted, and paralyzed in life can rebuild their broken lives and make them happy. It is no wonder to the Lord that the orphan Esther was made queen. When we completely surrender our affairs to the will of God, the will of the Lord will come to us through His hand. It will be a blessing to us and a wonder to our eyes. When we believe with complete certainty that God is able to fulfill what He promised, like Abraham, what God has planned to do in our lives will surely be fulfilled.

 

Dear Beloved! Are you also in a situation where you are considered insignificant and ignored by everyone? The God who raised David, the God who raised Joseph can raise everyone who reads this. All things are possible through Him. He can do great things that cannot be searched out and wonders that cannot be counted in our lives. Therefore, let us declare to God, "God, you are able to do all things. What you have thought to do in my life will not be hindered." Let us believe in God's words, entrust our affairs to Him and receive blessings.
