There will be results.
“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it” - Isaiah 55:11
A group of evangelists came up with a creative plan to send the word of God into the Iron Curtain countries where the word of the Lord cannot reach. They bought thousands of empty plastic bottles, put the Gospel of Mark inside them, and threw them into the water with prayer off the coast of California, USA. This incident took place on April 15, 1978. This group of evangelists also did not give up their prayers and continued to pray. As a result, many years later, they heard the testimony of a young man. One day, without any particular reason, he went to the seashore. As he sat there alone, staring at the ocean, he noticed something floating toward him. When he ran and picked it up, he saw the word of the Lord was inside it. He dedicated his life to the Lord after reading it. He also testified that his life, which was running straight to destruction, was turned around to a good life.
Because the Lord had a plan for this young man, the Word of God had journeyed for three years across the ocean approximately 5,100 miles and arrived at the right person, at the appointed time. The Bible says, "Cast your bread upon the waters; after many days you will see its fruit" (Ecclesiastes 11:1). That one bottle travelled for 3 years at sea and reached the hands of this certain young man on the island of Kiribati, in Micronesia
Dear friends who are reading this! see how the Lord fulfills His Word! In the same way, in our own lives, the things that God has appointed to accomplish through us will surely be fulfilled. The promises God has given us will certainly come to pass at the appointed time.
Have you not received results even after serving faithfully? Whether it be three years or thirty years, the Lord will come to you with what He has in store for you. The Israelites, who were oppressed by Pharaoh, continued to do the work they were given. After many days, the Lord Himself gave them the reward of that and delivered them. “Behold, this is what was kept for you... it has been kept for you until now” (1 Samuel 9:24). The Lord will bless you.
