Jesus Born as a Human

 

“…behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.” - Luke 2:10

 

Hello kids, Christmas, which you are eagerly awaiting, is very close now, isn't it? So exciting!  

 

On December 24th, Angel, a fourth standard student, had a big doubt. "Why did Jesus have to take human form and be born into this world? He could have remained God and spoken to people!" She had many such questions. While thinking about this, she went near the window. Since it was December, the time of snowfall, she saw a little bird shivering in the cold on a tree. Seeing this, Angel wanted to help the bird. She ran and opened the garage door, inviting the bird to come inside and warm itself. No matter how much she called, the little bird did not come inside. Angel didn't know what to do. At that moment, another bird came and sat on the tree branch. Unable to bear the cold, it looked around, saw the open garage, and flew inside. Seeing this, the little bird also followed it into the garage and sat near the light to warm itself.

 

It was then that Angel began to understand. Jesus was born into this world as the Son of Man to set an example for us on how to live and how to reach heaven. Do you wonder what kind of example He set? By obeying His mother Mary and Joseph, Jesus Christ taught us to obey our parents. If God had spoken from heaven, saying, "Obey your parents," what would we have said? Wouldn't we have even said, "Does God know how difficult that is?" He was born as a human on this earth precisely so that we could live this kind of life. The angel decided to happily share this news with her friends! So, little ones, will you also tell everyone you know, all your friends, about the secret of Jesus being born as the Son of Man? Then Jesus will be very happy with you, okay?
