Pray

 

“O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.” - Psalm 65:2

 

Sundar took his one-year-old son along with him to his workplace. There, many people joyfully picked the child up and delighted in playing with him. When he became thirsty, he ran to his father and asked for water. When he felt hungry, he went to his father, received a biscuit, and ate it.

 

As Christians, we too whatever our needs may be, must look to our Heavenly Father and ask Him. A mother, having given birth to her son amidst sorrow, named him Jabez. However, as Jabez grew up, he resolved that the sorrow his mother had endured should not enter his own life; thus, he prayed to God, asking Him to keep him from harm so that it would not cause him pain. God granted him exactly what he had prayed for. Whether our needs are material or spiritual, we must pray to God concerning them. When we pray, He hears our prayers and answers them.

 

People may identify us based on our weaknesses and shortcomings, however when we pray to God, He hears our prayers and transforms our circumstances. Yet, He expects us to come to Him. When we do so, He fulfills our desires.
