Forcefulness

 

“...and the violent take it by force” - Matthew 11:12

 

When we decide to buy a product and search for details about it on a mobile app, the price might not initially match our expectations. However, within minutes, another company might notify us that they can offer it at that price. This pattern continues; whenever we open our mobile phone, the very item we searched for appears before us. Various companies persistently try to persuade or even force us to buy that product. This continues until we finally make a purchase. They approach us in various ways, exerting pressure to ensure we buy their goods.

 

If worldly products can be promoted with such persistence and forcefulness, how much effort do we put into "forcing" the Kingdom of Heaven upon others? How many people do we try to tell about Jesus Christ? What efforts do we make to bring Jesus into their lives? He has granted us salvation and the priceless gift of heavenly life. He has promised to prepare a place for us. Yet, how many people do we tell about this Kingdom of Heaven and about Jesus Christ? Do we try to share this message repeatedly? Let us reflect on whether we are earnestly trying to introduce Jesus to everyone, our brothers, sisters, siblings, relatives, friends, and our own children. The Lord says that from the days of John the Baptist, the Kingdom of Heaven has been taken by force. Even today, many are wandering without knowing the Lord. Many missionaries have come to our land, sacrificing their possessions, parting from their families, and even laying down their lives. Let us, too, be those who press forward for the Kingdom of Heaven by sharing the love of Jesus with everyone. Let us strive daily in one way or another to speak about Jesus Christ and persist in this effort.

 

God will surely enable us to witness a great revival. May the Lord bless each one of you.
