Oh, urging mind! Don’t get irritated!

 

“When Haman saw that Mordecai did not bow or pay him homage, Haman was filled with wrath.” - Esther 3:5

 

In the vehicles, like car or bike, used by us, if heat is put up, there is no use at all. That prevents the running of the vehicle. What is the reason for that? Dried parts are rubbing with each other. To prevent this rubbing, oil is to be used. Too much heat in the machine is dangerous. Like that in our life ‘irritation’ or ‘wrath’ gives us evil only. 

 

In the Bible, in the book of Esther, Ahasuerus, the king of Babylon, advanced Haman and set his seat above all the princes. He ordered that all other servants should bow and pay homage to Haman. But when Haman saw that Mordecai did not bow or pay him homage, he was filled with wrath. He disdained to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had told him of the people of Mordecai. Instead, Haman sought to destroy all the Jews, the people of Mordecai, who were throughout the whole kingdom. But it was turned to the contrary. So, they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Why did the life of Haman end like this? The reason is, he had a little wrath in his heart.

 

In our life also, whenever we have the thought, that we have a disappointment or ingratitude or disrespect by others that will create wrath. This will make our running of life discomfort. Let the words of the Lord and anointing by the Holy Spirit make us sit as not to be thought that we as a person having wrath. The Lord will show his love and help in thousands of ways. All our ‘disappointments’ will become “His appointments”. So, we must pray God to destroy our wrath. “For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.” (Galatians 5:5). So, oh, urging mind! Believe only the Lord! Hallelujah!
