What Pleases Jesus?

“Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who deal truth fully are His delight” - Proverbs 12:22

Hello, little kitties, how are you? I trust that all are fine by the grace of almighty. If our way of living pleases Jesus, He will be very glad, won’t He? We have to self-examine ourselves every day and find out whether we have done what is acceptable, good and perfect to God. Is it ok? Will you do it? Let us listen to the story.

How many of you like to travel by bus? Oh! Everyone likes it. Fine. That too it will be delightful to sit on the window seat. Ok. There were four friends. They used to go to school by bus. They were naughty and they played and roamed near the bus stop. They often missed the bus and went to school late and gave lame excuses to the teacher. They never felt that they were doing something wrong. The teacher had a doubt about the late comers.

A true friend must correct his other friends if they go wrong. But these four friends did not try to correct one another. One day as usual they went to class late. When the teacher asked for the reason, they told a lie that the tire of the bus had a puncture. The teacher knows that it was not true.  She wanted to teach them a lesson. She sent the other students out and gave a piece of paper to each one and told them to write which type of the bus had a puncture. As the incident did not take place, they blinked like owls. They could not mention whether it was right or left tire and front or back tire. Each one wrote different answer. The teacher found out the truth. They felt ashamed of themselves and put their heads down. The teacher advised them and they asked for forgiveness. The teacher was delighted as the four friends decided to be good. There after they caught the bus on time and they were never late for school.

Dear little children, telling lies, taking others things without their knowledge and using abusive words are minor mistakes committed by us often. But it grieves and saddens Jesus when we do something wrong. We must stop making such mistakes. If we try, we can put an end to all our wrong doings and make Jesus happy. Ok, Bye.
