Weapons of warfare

 

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” - James 4:7

 

There will be spiritual sufferings for every child of God. So, no child of God should start a day with carelessness. 

 

Herb Caen wrote in his book that, an animal called gazelle lives in the African forest, it can run very fast knowing that " it will be killed if it didn't outrun the lion that is chasing this gazelle." Everyday a lion also wakes up thinking "it should starve if it didn't outrun a gazelle". So, if you are a lion or a gazelle, you should keep on running fast."

 

Spurgeon a servant of God writes, " if you are not searching for God, devil will be searching for you." " Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." So, let us run and hide into the God's protecting wings. When? In early morning! Daily we should seek for God and make Him our refuge. It is the only weapon of warfare to escape the trials and temptations of the devil. You should get the strength to stand against the devil in the morning. 

 

My dear! Early in the morning seek God and gain more strength and start your day. Your own strength won't help you to stand against this world and devil. Only God's strength will win this world. You can live a successful Christian life if you start your day with the strength of God.
