Don't worry

 

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” - Philippians 4:6

 

I was sitting in my garden early in the morning, and I heard a chattering sound. I went near a tree to find it was the sound of baby birds. I saw an amazing sight when I was watching it for some time. Those baby bird's eyes were not opened yet, but when they heard the sound of their mother came and sat in a branch nearby, they opened their mouth wide. Mother kept the food into their mouth and the birds closed the mouth. 

 

There is a lesson for us. Those baby birds opened their mouth when their mother sat near them. They believed that the food their mother gave was good and ate it. But we humans, even though God is near us and meeting our needs, worry about tomorrow and the future. We lose today by thinking about tomorrow. Jesus said to those who worry like this " look at the birds". They don’t save like ants but still God feeds them daily. But our thoughts are " that is better than this, now I don’t need this" and we ignore what God gives us. God is also worried about this. He is our heavenly Father. He knows all our needs and the thoughts of our heart. He is capable of providing everything at the right time. We can be happy if we live by accepting everything with the help of God. We lose happiness and peace when we worry. 

 

My dear, most of the time instead of thanking God for the blessings He has given us, we forget all that He done for us and we forget to thank Him and we complain against Him and lose the blessings. Our God is greater than all the situations. He is the God Who created us, He knows all our thoughts and our distress. If we say "Thank You God" after receiving whatever He gives without any doubts, He will take care of our lives happily.
