Slavery

 

"All things are lawful dor me, but I will not be brought under the power of any" - 1 Corinthians 6:12

 

In our lot of things will often visit us and leave. But some things will enslave us and keep us enslaved. May be the enemy has blinded us for we do not have the feeling of being in slavery. Let us meditate about one of many things today.

 

In this era lot of youth are enslaved to mobile phones. If you ask who would you seek when you wake up in the morning either God or mobile, 90% will say that they prefer mobile. We spent too much time on mobile with or without reason. How can I come out of this addiction? I want to come out of it but I cant you might wonder, dont worry. Our God can grant you freedom. 

 

You can succeed if you have the feeling of you are in a slavery. Ask God to give you the strength to lead a life with self control. If you pick up your phone for something just do that and nothing else. Decide that you wont use mobile as a pastime. David didnt go to the roof to see Bathsheba. But he saw her when he was walking on the roof and commited sin. To be particular he didn't do the job assigned to him, but he was sleeping in his house. Hw woke up and went to the roof to pass time. There his eyes became his trap. My dear youth, do your job or study when you are young. You will see general news in your mobile, and you will get related videos as suggestions, dont forget it will take you into sin in the end. 

 

If you are trapped in any sin, open up to the Lord. Pray, fast and struggle to get the freedom. Reject the feeling of taking your mobile. Decide to live this one life for Christ instead of selling it to slavery.
