Daily Devotion (English) – 31.12.2022 (Christmas Special)

 

Finally…

 

“Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves…” - 2Corinthians 13:5

 

We have come to the end of this year, if we look back at our lives we will be doing lot of things we like to do: if we think when we did what God wants us to do, it would be a question mark. Let us look at some questions which we should ask ourselves. 

 

1. When was the last time I cried for someone's salvation?

 

2. When was the last time I made God happy?

 

3. When was the last time I fed a hungry person?

 

4. When was the last time I shared gospel to someone?

 

5. When was the last time I prayed for the country?

 

6. When was the last time I prayed for a sick person?

 

7. When was the last time I felt the presence of God?

 

8. When was the last time I gave out tracts?

 

9. When was the last time I prayed for my church?

 

10. When was the last time I was guilty and apologised to my neighbour?

 

11. When was the last time I was ashamed because of Christ?

 

12. When was the last time I did God's wish?

 

13. When was the last time I prayed for my enemies?

 

14. When was the last time I prayed for the witness I will leave behind after my death? 

 

15. Did I fulfil the vow I made last time?

 

If we ask the questions to ourselves and try to answer them truly based on our conscience, we are at a point in which we can't answer for many questions. Because we haven't done lot of these things in months or even years. If we realise we lack these normal things as a Christian, let us devote ourselves to do this today. Let God give His grace to us.
