It will fulfil
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry” - Habakkuk 2:3
Her husband was forsaken by doctors, it felt like standing alone in a desert! She was tired with lot of questions in her mind! 2016 new year was displeasing for her, but God's promise was " For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee." ( Isaiah 41:13)! She believed God is with her and He will change the situation. But in February her husband died. It was like darkness surrounded her.
This promise was not given by God, I am not worthy of this promise, is what she thought and left the promise but held on to the one Who promised saying " Don't forget me". Not only her but also her family thought everything Is over once her husband died. But the God Who promised, I will help thee didn't forsake her but improved her life amidst the hard times she was going through. God helped her to secure a job for three years in a CSI deaf school and also come out of the hard times. He has helped to work for three years despite competing the special B.Ed to teach the hearing impaired people. God met her needs with a minimal salary and not depending on others. Hard times came in her family too. She was in tears when a missionary came forward to accept both the mother and child, she married him and now they three are doing ministry together. That woman in none other but me!
My dear! I realized one thing when I look back the path I walked, God knew that a situation is brewing for me to be depressed and lifeless, He gave me a promise, held my hand and walked with me. Yea, He who promised never goes back on His word; whatever the situations may be it will fulfil. It will appear that the promise won't fulfil and the life headed towards ruin. But we can only realize the promise fulfilled by God only when we look back the path we walked through. Don't be weary for He who promised is truthful, He will come with till He fulfils His promise. Amen.
