The beauty of the Bible

 

“I have restrained my feet from every evil way, that I may keep Your word.” - Psalms 119:101

 

Ingersoll an atheist from France and his friends went for a tour in the eastern countries. They visited many islands. A young man was reading the Bible under a tree. Ingersoll went near him and said, "Why are you reading a book filled with useless old stories? throw is off, and I will give you good scientific books to read, improve your knowledge and it will be useful for your life." That young man looked at Ingersoll from top to bottom and said, " If this Bible didn't reach us, we would have killed, cooked and ate you. "Bible changed cannibals into civilized people. 

 

Bible verse is capable to change those enslaved to sin, mistakes, transgressions and injustice. The Bible is one of the greatest gift God has given us. Old times was filled with adultery, caste discrimination, fornication, murder, robbery. Because of the precious missionaries who took Bible in their hands this world became civilized; it is the truth accepted by all the historians. People were saved when they come to the true light of Jesus Christ through the Bible from the darkness of sin. 

 

Facts in the Bible are not expressed as guesses but truth. Bible is the best book that transformed the world. Those who love and read the Bible can lead a holy life. God is calling each and everyone those who have accepted Jesus as their saviour to have faith in " the Bible is the word of God" and lead a holy holiness. 

 

My dear, shall we love, read and meditate the word of Jesus Who saved us from the darkness of sin? Your word is very pure; Therefore Your servant loves it.(Psalms 119:40). Let the grace of God hold us! Amen.
