Don't delay 

 

“...Abraham rose up early in the morning,... went unto the place of which God had told him.”- Genesis 22:3

 

There was a little boy saving the little money his God fearing mother gave him. He was saving so that some da he can buy something he desire the most. One day he came running to him mother. He gave all the money he had saved to his mother saying last night I saw a vision. In it I was standing with Go forth a missionary working among the murderers in Manchuria. When I woke up I heard a small still voice saying "give your savings to missionary Go forth". So please send this money and tell him to share Jesus to those living there and went to his school. 

 

He came back running in a few minutes to say, "mom don't late and send it soon. I don't want to hear God reminding me the second time". We all in need of such a child's mind. A faith that obeys the Lord's command! Yea, Abraham obeyed the Lords command. He might have thought I I share this with Sarah, it might bring delay or hinderance in obeying to the Lord's will. So he woke up in the morning and rushed to sacrifice Isaac without informing Sarah. We all know the result. miraculously a lamp was sacrificed in the place of Isaac. 

 

My dear! a delayed obedience is equal to disobedience. Normally it is easy to obey to a command that we like. But it is hard for us to obey to something we don't like! but Abraham obeyed that. Let us first obey the Lord. It will be easy to obey to your husband and leadership if you obey the Lord. Let us learn to obey the command we received once, before a reminder arrives and receive blessings.
