Falling in Love

 

“Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is” - Ephesians 5:17

 

When you are in your teens, what happens if someone says I love you? Your emotions in deep slumber starts burning. You are attracted to them once they express their feelings for you. most of them are struggling not knowing how to handle the situation. Geetha was struggling like this and that's when the preacher spoke about this in a youth camp. 

 

1. Think about your age: You cant decide whom you can marry or about your future before becoming major. Don't worry about that person. If that is in your tens never fall in love. It is infatuation and nothing else. 

 

2.Think whether it will please God: Think will it please God? If that person is a non-believer, God and the Bible says inscribe NO in your heart. 

 

3. Think about your education: If you are at the right time to marry and have completed your education, ask your parents to think about this. If it is a right match they will arrange your marriage. If you are a not at the right time to marry ignore them. Education is important in your life.

 

4. Think about your feelings: Think whether have I agreed to this based on pressure from others or by pitying. Wait for a while if you like that person. Their face will be revealed in a short while. 

 

5. Think about your parents: Think whether your parents will agree to marry that person. 

 

6. Fall in love after getting married: Love the partner whole heartedly God gave you after marriage. Isaac did this. Isaac took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he loved her ( Genesis 24:67) said the preacher. Geetha got a clarity.
