Splendorous children's ministry

 

“Does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says” - Mark 11:23

 

A fatherless Christian woman had two boys of 14,12 years of age. They went to Sunday school and VBS without fail. A shocking news awaited then as they went with their sick mother to the hospital. She was admitted in the hospital with final stage of cancer. Doctors said she can live to a maximum of 6 months. 

 

She was sadly crying thinking about her situation. Her eldest son brought a Bible, sat near her and read Mark 11:23. It read " For assuredly, I say unto you, whoever says to this mountain, ' be removed and be cast into the sea', and doesn't doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says." They comforted their mother saying " mom according to this let us pray faithfully, you will love". 

 

She started to pray having faith in that Verse. She started to read and meditate the Bible daily for she hadn't done that before. She was induced to read the following verses. It read " if you have anything forgive him, that your father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses " this word spoke to her. She wept bitterly for her mindset that she can't forgive her relatives, and forgave everyone. To her surprise! She slept soundly for she couldn't sleep properly for several months. The changes happened in her amazed the doctor. She was cured completely. Her ministry is now amidst cancer patients and she is glorifying God. 

 

Yea my dear! Children's ministry will definitely bring changes in the family and church. There are lot of incidents like this. All those can't be written in books. Let us pray for all the children and teachers attending VBS this month. If you get a chance to do children's ministry, use that oppertunity. Let God use the children in our church amidst the decaying society as a warriors of faith.
