Tears needed

 

“...So I wept much“ - Revelation 5:4

 

Holy Bible is a book written in tears. It will reveal it's treasures to those who read it with tears. God won't reveal anything to those read as a routine or as a pastime. 

 

God spoke to Moses who was waiting in Mount Sinai with tears and trembling. A country was saved when Moses prayed in tears to strike his name from the book of life instead of Israelites his people. Daniel's long fasting prayer and tears made Gabriel to come down from heaven to reveal heavenly secrets. When John, the favourite desciple of Jesus saw that nobody could open the sealed book in the revelations he wept. Then am elder comforted him and said the Liom of Juda has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose it's seven scrolls. Most of the Psalms were written in tears. 

 

If we look at the revival history, lot of Christian leaders and preachers wept and prayed in the presence of God for this decaying world. It is written that Jesus Christ was also heavy hearted, they were also like that. 

 

Modern Christians lack a broken heart and tearless eyes. Most of the preachers are without tears so their ministry is also fruitless. Believers have less burden towards dying souls. When I say this, don't think that if a Christian weeps fake tears and it will magically do everything. This is not a burden from the heart but from his spirit. In the modern Christian world the essential things are humility, fearfulness broken heart and tears. Let God send this to us quickly. 

 

Destruction and sin have multiplied everywhere, it is our duty to pray for all these with tears. Let God give such a burden to us.
