Don’t worry

 

"...Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own" - Matthew 6:34

 

We usually feel worried and agitated even for small things in our daily life. Amidst our daily work we are always seen with a sad face because of the anxious thoughts running through our minds. Even if we don't have problems to worry about, we worry about tomorrow. Will my child get a job? Will we get the groom whom we like? Where will I go home at my old age? Maybe if I become bedridden who will take care of me? We are worried about uncertain things happening. We cannot be idle, so we worry about something. The fact is, worry and man have become inseparable.

 

According to George Mueller, the faith warrior, man should be concerned about two things only. One is to worry that I am not saved. Another is to worry that I am still in the grip of Satan and living a sinful life. He says that man need not worry about anything except these two things. As he shared his experience, in my life for the past 70 years, I have looked to God alone more than thousand times for every need, to run my orphanages with over a two thousand children. I never worried about anything. God has helped me beyond my expectations. Cast all your cares and burdens on him with the same faith as a child has on his parents. Say in your heart, "Lord, I believe that You are able to change my problems." He says this was the secret for my successful, worry-free, faithful life.

 

Yes, dear ones! There is a God who examines us. Let's get used to cast all our worries on Him. Tomorrow is closed with a curtain. It is not good for us to look beyond the curtain thinking “will this happen like this or that”, but tomorrow belongs to God. He himself will make everything perfect. Today's problem might be small or big, let's tell everything faithfully to God , and you will feel God's peace filling your heart.
