Like honey ...

 

"…they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb" - Psalm 19:10

 

Vimal was always very happy on Friday evening. Do you know why? He likes travelling to his grandfather's house in the neighbouring village for weekend holidays. Do you also like grandparents house? Super. . . Vimal does not know how he spend his time playing with Caesar the puppy at Grandpa's house. Caesar lied wagging his tail. . . Lol . .Lol It barks and showed its love. Grandfather would wake up early in the morning, pray, read the Bible and then go to graze the two cows in his house. Grandpa . . . said “Vimal you should get up and pray and also read the Bible.” Vimal said “No, grandpa, its holiday today, let me sleep a while." After a while the grandmother also got up and started to seek the Lord.

 

When Vimal woke up, he was surprised to see his grandmother reading the Bible. Why is this? Grandfather and grandmother are competing to read the Bible. He wondered what was in it. Grandfather also came home after tending the cows. He kept the hay and water needed for the cow and rested for a while. Vimal, who was playing with Caesar, looked around the tree and saw the bees flying around. There was a large beehive. Vimal wanted to eat honey. He called Grandfather “ Come here and see how big the beehive is?” . What kutties have you eaten honey? It is soo tasty. Grandfather carefully took the honey the way it should be taken. Grandma came and tasted the honey and said. “ Vimal, the Bible verse is much tastier than this honey.” That's why Grandpa and myself will read the Bible early in the morning... Vimal said “ok, Grandma. I will try to read the Bible from now on. Teach me. Grandfather and grandmother where filled with happiness that their faces became bright when they heard me.

 

Little children ! Can we be still without reading the Bible which is sweeter than honey when we have them? Read the Bible daily and taste Jesus. All the best.
