Eternal happiness is perfect freedom

 

"…we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son" - Romans 5:10

 

On August 15, 1947, there was a celebration everywhere around India. They hoisted our national flag. They distributed sweets. There would have been dancing and singing too. But many toiled and bled for this. Many lost their lives. We cannot explain the sufferings that they have endured for the freedom of the country we live in. Moreover, greener and prosperous nation. It has been 76 years since independence.

 

We have been freed from slavery of other countries. But within ourselves we are enslaved and bound, so we lose our happiness and are slaves to ourselves. Still fights and conflicts arise based on caste, language and religion. The nation is seen without peace and tranquillity.

 

In 1947, although the happiness of freedom was seen among the people, it cannot be said with certainty that there was happiness in the life and soul of every individual. Worries and hardships in personal life were bound to exist. No human being can overcome those worries and difficulties. The God who created us wishes each of us to be freed from sin, curse, disease and to have peace of mind, happiness and peace. So, he came down from the position of authority as the creator, because of love and accepted all the curses and hardships caused by our sin all alone and died. On the third day, he resurrected victoriously. Even today He is helping everyone to attain this eternal liberation and attain happiness and peace. Joy, peace and eternal life are assured to those washed by His blood.

 

On Independence Day, we remember the sacrifice and blood shed by many leaders. When you feel you are in need of eternal happiness and peace, remember only the love of Jesus and His blood can give constant joy and peace. If you accept it and make a confession to wash yourself, joy and peace will fill your soul. You can celebrate this freedom forever. If you call him, he will come and give you freedom to live with him forever.
