Shining stars

 

"Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever" - Daniel 12:3

 

A king wanted to honor the best citizen in his country. For this purpose, four people were selected in the examination. To select one out of four, all the four were brought to the final round. One of them was introduced as a great doctor who cured many people and have given free medical aid to the poor. They said that the latter was an excellent social worker and improved the living standard of the poor living in many villages and towns. The third person was also introduced as a good judge who was very fair and just in his judgments. At the end they introduced an old lady who looked very simple. Many people's foreheads shrank as to why they brought this mother in the midst of so many great persons. That old mother was the teacher of these three. When she was introduced as the one who had dedicated her life to formulate all the three, the crowd erupted into loud applause.

 

Today is Teacher's Day; Teachers play a major role in shaping an individual in society. The role of teachers is very important in creating the students' progress from the little kindergartens to the young biys and girls who are separated from their parents.

 

Dear teachers! You may be school teachers or college professors. Do not forget that you are the salt and light, and are sculptors who beautifully sculpt many students so that they shine in their life. It's not just the classroom you enter every day; Even within the lives of your students. You know that marks alone cannot enrich a student's life. The way he lives reveals who he is.

 

If you make a little effort to open not only the academic eyes of the students but also open their mental eyes, heaven will surely be pleased. You can definitely do this. So, another key is to dedicate yourself to God and work to convert your students into "honorable indivudals". May God increase your skills and teaching ability, bless you and make your students like diamonds in the earth and stars shining in the sky.
