Talk about Jesus

 

"For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard" - Acts. 4:20 

 

"Aphasia" is a disease in which the ability to speak is lost. It occurs when the message from the brain to the tongue is interrupted, either by injury or disease. But there are many Christians these days who are afflicted with spiritual " Aphasia." They know Jesus, but they never talk about him. They know God's plan of salvation but do not share it with others. Many do not exhibit the zeal of the early Christians, "Let us be not without speaking the things which we have seen and heard." The connection between knowledge and witness is lost. The deficiency should be rectified. Many times fear, and sometimes sin, are barriers to freely proclaim Christ. Only those who confess their sins and rely on the power of the Holy Spirit can continually share Christ with others.

 

Many Christians only use the Christmas season to evangelize. How good it would be if the promptness and good engagement shown in introducing Jesus to others could be seen every days! On the one hand, it makes me happy that they are preaching the gospel at least on Christmas days. There should be no hesitation or shyness in introducing Jesus to others. Jesus says that whoever confesses me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven. In Acts we read that the disciples spoke boldly about Jesus everywhere. Beloved, let us boldly speak to others about Jesus and live like Jesus every day. May we be blessed.
