Live as seed

 

"…for they had offered willingly…" - I Chronicles 29:9

 

One day the science teacher entered the class with a pepper. How did this grow? He asked the students. Students said from the chilli plant. Immediately the teacher said how ddi the plant grow. They said from the seed. Behold the wonder of God. How many pods from one seed and how many seeds are inside each pod! How many multiply from one seed? He started conducting the lessons of the day.

 

Even in the scriptures a boy who came to hear the words of Jesus had five loaves and two fish for himself. He had brought food with a distant vision. After speaking for a long time, when Jesus was about to send the people away, he told his disciples to give them something to eat because they would be exhausted from hunger. The boy gave the food he had for himself as small seeds to the disciples. It was like giving away. But Jesus increased it and many people ate it, five thousand men, women and children. And the rest was taken. He also ate satisfied and returned home. Everyone was happy.

 

Dear reading this! If the little boy who heard the words of Jesus one day gave what he had for himself to sow without even thinking that it was needed for the ministry of Jesus, today you and I listen to his words for years. We pray for revival. But what do we do about the ministry of meeting souls? Let's think about it. Your contribution may be as small as that boy sowed. He will multiply what you give to the ministry as they spend it on Jesus' work. Only we benefit if we have it. When you give to Jesus Christ, your heart and mind will be satisfied. There will be abundance in ministry and in our lives. This is the fruit of God. We can see it in the eternal life as well. In Matthew 10:42 we see that giving a jar of water is fruitful. So let us willingly give what we have to the Lord with all our hearts and receive blessings.
