Today is the day of salvation

 

" for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." - Luke 19:10

 

Breaking news on TV: Today is the 16th day of the rescue operation to rescue 41 miners trapped in the mine. It was the 17th day, after relentless efforts that "they will be rescued and released by this evening"! Everyone who saw, heard and read this news on TV was thinking that the 41 people trapped in the mine were there relatives.

 

41 ambulances, a team of doctors, tireless work of technicians, crane drivers, helpers, labourers, relatives of stranded people, civilians, rulers, high-ranking officials thronged the place. Despite the frenzy and chaos, the only concern on everyone's mind is that the 41 people should be rescued today. In that environment, only one thought, one intention, one prayer prevailed on everyone's heart.

 

On television we could seepeople waiting in a single linear line for the success of the rescue of the 41 persons mission to come out from the dark tunnel into the light of the wider world. The number of supplicants is incalculable. Yes, their one mind won. Words cannot describe the emotional moments that followed as the 41 men exited the dark mine one by one with loud cheers, and then his relations and workers cheered.

 

Beloveds! Can't we see that this remarkable event beautifully emphasized the excellence, the nobility, the necessity of a "rescue mission"? In the Epiphany ". . . there will be great joy in heaven over one sinner who repents". . . We read that in Luke 15:7. ". . . the blood of Jesus Christ can take away all sin and cleanse us." (1John 1:7) Do you know this gospel? Are you saved and experienced salvation? Yes! If it is your answer, there will joy in heaven for sure because of your redemption. If your answer is probably no, then you need to make a decision today. If you believe this good news that only the blood of Jesus Christ is able to redeem us from the clutches of sin, you are His child. Heaven will surely celebrate your redemption! Don't delay! Now is the perfect time!! Now is the day of salvation!!!
