Flourishing even in adulthood

 

"…They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing" - Psalm 92:14

 

As soon as you cross the age of 40, if you notice a little grey hair, some pains in your body, vision impairment, blood pressure, and sugar decrease, then the thought that you are just getting old will prevail. There are people who live with the dialogue that they have given me a break from government work and that's all, I am counting the days of my death while looking at the roof of the house. But even today there are those who act for God beyond age and weakness.

 

Thomas Mathew Sr. was a merchant, landowner, and governor of Elizabeth Island. His son Thomas Sr. ministered to the people of Athens. The son went to England to raise funds on a ship and never returned. Although grieving the loss of his son, Thomas Mathew, who wanted to continue the ministry left behind by his son, invited many people to come to the ministry. No one came forward as Thomas Mathew, did not know the language. At the age of seventy he learned the language and devoted himself to ministry there. He walked twenty miles through the woods and led about three thousand souls to salvation.

 

Moses, who was tending his father's sheep in the wilderness, was chosen among the brambles to carry out his ministry, to lead the people of Israel to Canaan, a land flowing with milk and honey. God calls Moses to perform many miracles and signs. Moses was said, "Aaron will be your mouth, and I have made you a god to Pharaoh, the king of Egypt." Moses was eighty years old and Aaron was eighty-three years old when Moses and Aaron stood before Pharaoh. (Exodus 7:7)

 

Yes, beloved! Your age is not a barrier for God to prove His power through you. He performed many miracles and signs with Moses. All the nations of the earth knew that day that there was no god but the God of Israel. Are you holding yourself back for some reason? Age is not a barrier to work for God. It is enough to have a wish in mind. God will give you the opportunity, strength and grace to do something. Amen.
