God shall supply

 

"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus" - Philippians 4:19

 

George Muller in England was a pious minister. He took care of thousands of children in his home for children. One day when it was time for breakfast there was no food. He don't have money to buy something, All the plates and all the tumblers were empty. He made everyone sit down and bow their heads and pray, thank you, our father, for the food you are giving us. Before he could say Amen, heard a knock on the door. There stood the baker. He said I had a sleepless night. I thought you had nothing to eat in the morning. So got up at two o'clock in the morning and prepared necessary breads saying that I have freshly made these breads for you. As soon as it was donated, another knock was heard at the door. When opened, the milkman's cart has broken down in front of this inn. To fix it I have to get all the milk out of it. So can you buy this milk? he asked. Thus, George Müller's needs of the day were met, and deficiencies changed.

 

In the Gospel of John there is a wedding in Cana. Jesus and his disciples were invited to that wedding. The marriage house ran out of grape juice. Jesus asked the servants to fill stone jars with water and turned it into wine. And those who were there, any man first gives good wine, and after the people are satisfied gives that which is less palatable. They said that you have given good taste juice later.

 

My beloved ones! Lack of money in your life today? Worried about your children's future? Lack of money to host a wedding? The only solution to all these is the feet of Jesus. When you sit at the feet of Jesus and tell Him all your shortcomings, your shortcomings will be fulfilled. Your needs will be met. So why should you mourn in vain when God is with you who fulfils your shortcomings?
