Intercede

 

"…Yet now, if You will forgive their sin, but if not, I pray, blot me out of Your book which You have written." - Exodus 32:32

 

A master cultivated the land well, planted it, watered it, and grew trees. He appointed a servant to take care of those trees. He was waiting for fruit on a certain tree. But no fruit. The master who expected the fruit was heartbroken. After waiting and getting angry because of the lack of fruit, he asks the servant to cut down the tree. The servant said let this be this year with a humble voice. Then the servant says that he will burn it around.

 

When the master tells him to cut, the servant intercedes. This part broke my heart. Even today people are headed towards destruction. Who intercedes for them? Today many are praying for themselves and their families. Those who pray for their people, for the people of the country have decreased. Nehemiah prayed for his people. With him, God assigned building the church job. Esther prayed for the salvation of her people. God restored the nation by Esther. The church gathered and prayed for Peter's imprisonment to be released. At that very moment he made them see the release of Peter. Whatever you ask in prayer as a believer, you will receive. It is not just about praying for us but also about praying for others. He praised the faithfulness of the centurion who faithfully came for his servant. Seeing the faith of the four men who had brought the arrogant man, he comforted the arrogant man. Today we need believers who can bring those who are bound by sin and curse. In these days, people who pray selfishly have multiplied.

 

Listen to me, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, and the ends of the earth as your possession; (Psalm 2:8) says God. We need people who listen to him, the scriptures say that our faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Believers do not forget to pray for those in the world. We need those who can intercede and pray to the Lord who can bring the people of the country back from destruction. Commit yourself today to pray that way.
