Let us remove unbelief

 

"…So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief" - Hebrews 3:19

 

In the history of the world and in the scriptures, many people who started their lives with faith and hope and found success, over time fell into the mire of unbelief and faithlessness and failed.

 

Florence Gatwick was a swimmer who held many world records. She made a statement by training hard to create a record that no one could break. In it she said, "I am going to swim 34 kilometres from Catania Island in the Pacific Ocean to Southern California"! They warned that the area was very dangerous and could be affected by sea waves and fish attacks. Ready to face this, the player, after crossing about 30 kilometres, got scared and disbelief that it would take a long time to reach the shore, and signalled that she could not. She was lifted up with the help of a helicopter. When she went up he saw the shore and was shocked. A little more effort seemed to be success, and immediately she began to cry longingly. Many today fail to run the race of faith to the end and give up halfway through. Many reasons are given for this.

 

Faithful warriors like Elijah were unable to face external threats and were desperate to end their run. People of Godly social habits, like Jonah, changed course and desired to end worldly life. But people like Paul faced many challenges and ran their race victoriously.

 

The missionaries who lived in our time also considered their sufferings as a cotton mattress and made many people as disciples and missionaries. Through their life story, we will endure suffering and live as a witness to make history so that we do not lose victory due to unbelief.
