Gifts

 

"And these signs will follow those who [a]believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues" - Mark 16:17

 

At the beginning of my ministry, I was walking in a village. On that way, there was an old lady who was trashing something suddenly swept away and fell down. The devil within her screamed and ran away. I do not lay my hands on their heads and pray. Nothing was known about the mother before that. Yet I could only sense that the Spirit was at work as I walked.

 

In the scriptures we read of miracles and wonders that happened in the days of the early apostles. Many signs and wonders were done among the people by their hands. And they laid the pilgrims on beds and cots and brought them out into the streets, that if the shadow of Peter might fall upon Peter as he walked. Extraordinary miracles happened. Bounties were revealed.

 

Jesus Christ left before the ascension and commanded to make disciples and baptize them with the Holy Spirit. Therefore, it is our duty to proclaim the good news that he has done to others. When we wholeheartedly and willingly do that commandment, gifts are given to us by the Spirit. This is what Peter does. The gifts worked when he boldly stood up in the face of opposition and proclaimed Jesus. Therefore, the Lord began to work with them in their ways.

 

Beloved! Do you want miracles like this to happen through you? As you obey the commandment of the Lord, the Spirit will surely do great things with you. But when you believe in Him and pass that faith on to others, blessings will work through you. When I lay my hands on others with that faith, the sickness disappears. The devil runs. He hears my prayers and does great things. If you truly believe in Him, proclaim Him to others, and the gifts will no doubt work from within you. These things shall also be done by your hands, Start today.
